/poetry/ disillusion

Moonlit silhouettes,
Words by the millions,
Frustated breaths,
Societal sirens.

Recognisable lyrics,
Voices by the disparities,
Knuckle breaking waits,
Unfamiliar paragraphs.

Candlelit memories,
Names by the generic,
Self inflicting kisses,
Braking hums.

Indefinable aches,
Grooves by the past,
Nail biting impertinences,
Isolated enactments.

Refreshing postcards,
Tears by the memories,
Self induced smiles,
Repeated lyrics.

Home; indefinable..

/poetry/ what would they say

What would they say,
If you and I were to live on our emotions?
Forever hate, Forever hate.

What would they say,
If you and I were to depend on our
dreams?
Forever tears, Forever tears.

What would they say,
If you and I were to strive on our insticts?
Forever gone, Forever gone.

Even through life,
And even through death,
With whatever we do,
The question always lingers...
- "What would they say?"
